|  | Charter The purpose of CNNOG is to improve network engineers' knowledge, and further improve the quality of Internet and other IP-based services available in China； CNNOG fosters the exchange of ideas and information between technical personnel involved with designing or operating parts of the China backbone/enterprise network； CNNOG is a non-profit and non-political group. But it may serve as a focus for discussion on technical aspects of political, legal or commercial issues that effect the China Network； CNNOG is aimed at technical personnel working for Service Providers and Enterprise, but it is open to anyone interested in furthering the CNNOG goals； CNNOG is now not a legal entity. There is now no formal organization； The principle channels for information exchange are the mailing list, web sites, BBS and regular meetings 2-3 times a year； CNNOG is a communal effort. Resources such as mailing lists, web sites, meeting organization and so on are very welcome from any persons or companies kind enough to offer them； The working languages are Chinese plus English.
