Great PKI Book October 13, 2008 Diego Santana (BA, AR) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A nice follow up from the Windwos 2003 version. A must read for those planning to upgrade those security servers...
Best reference for Windows PKI May 12, 2008 D. Hoyle (UK) This book is a significant and very worthwhile update on the 2003 version. The new edition is considerably larger than the previous one and covers the new features of Windows Server 2008 PKI including the new Advanced Cryptography Support (Suite B), OCSP and SCEP (among others).
The book also includes details of the Microsoft Certificate Lifecycle Manager (CLM/ILM 2007) product.
This book is the best reference for Windows PKI.
Buy this book if you are serious about Windows PKI & Certificates July 15, 2008 Peter Van Eeckhoutte (Belgium) This book is definitely a must have for anyone who plans to deploy a Windows 2008 (or even 2003) based Certificate Authority/PKI infrastructure. The author not only fully masters the subject, he also has found the rare balance between the necessary theory, legal aspects, discussing design aspects and diving into technical information. On top of that, the book contains an awful lot of real life scenario's and implementation examples.
So before you even start installing AD CS, read this book. You won't be disappointed.
YOU MUST HAVE IT! October 27, 2008 Andrei Vassiliev (Chicago, IL) This book is the best reference for Windows PKI, even if you are deployng Windows 2003 PKI. If you have started to look into PKI, this is the book YOU MUST HAVE. Thanks to Brian Komar.
