Covers the Law September 25, 2008 Bruce A. Baldy Although they admit to not being attourneys this book covers what I suppose is required:Knowing the Law where the internet is in question. It tells of precedure, methods and device of testing for vulnerability. Its a nutshell of getting into the IT security trade.
Centre point November 7, 2009 Yuksel Guney Hanedan (A City, Turkey) Think of this book as a centre point which guides you to many topics around the subject.
It IS very good, but because it covers too much, you must study the referenced progs and techniques for long hours outside the book. You need to do some research by your own.
If you have such time, you may really advance on security by this one.
exceptional November 21, 2007 Atman Ekong Eyong (germany) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
i have never read a book so easy!!! it makes me wanna read more and more, all chapters are exciting, i really wanna thank the writer for making it more explicit for even network dummies, with that said, everyone is capable of understanding this book and executing what its thought, not necessarily for exam purposes.
So far, so good.... June 14, 2009 Don Johnson (Colorado USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought Krutz's first book on CISSP prep and found it to be very readable and made difficult concepts more easily understood, at least enough for me to pass my CISSP certification. So far I'm 40% into this text and the same formula is holding true. A good aid for prepping for the CEH.
Good Book December 18, 2007 R. S. Shyaam Sundhar (Maryland, MD USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I wouldn't say that it is the best book, but it is a good one to know about the exam.
